It's like Christmas eve.

Remember that feeling of wondering if you will get what you asked Santa for, and you can't sleep?
I have that feeling about the game tomorrow. I hope I get the win I asked for but the anticipation keeps me from falling asleep.

I'm down here in Bradenton, and it feels so 'close' It's a hard feeling to describe. I just want today to be over so I can get to tomorrow.

Tomorrow will then feel like the Superbowl. I want to get friends together to come watch the game and have beers and snacks and wear jerseys and watch the game.

What are you all feeling?

Anxious, similar to Christmas eve as a kid. Probably even more so.

I hope the bucs can prevail in a do or die game but I'll except a loss and move on. That's the way this playoff system is setup, no second chances. Go bucs!

As someone who likes the one-and-done nature of the wild card "series". I hope at least the game doesn't turn on an interpretation of the infield fly rule. That would be like getting coal in your stocking....

EXCITED.

But worrried...hoping it's not one-and-done like Christmas Morning!

Wanting it to go on, like the 12 days of Christmas....or the 30 days of Playoffs!

Go Bucs!

Such a sick, uneasy, excited feeling in my stomach right now. Unreal. Unreal.

I feel ... calm.

Reading the article that J_C posted about Hurdle, and watching this team's pitching staff, makes me think they are the perfect team for the playoffs - very even-tempered, solid defense, great pitching, bullpen stacked with power arms, several blue-chip hitters.

Now it feels like Christmas morning, but I have to wait 12 hours to open my present. It's going to be a long day at work.

I'm a mix of calm and anxious. I don't want to get too high in case of a loss but hoping for the win. If we lose, I know this team will be back next year to win again. This is not a one and done team!! Go Bucs!!

Relying on an extremely long run today followed up by a metric ton of adult beverages to get me through this day. Win or lose though this feeling of anxiousness and nervousness is EXACTLY what we've been waiting for. Get 'em Bucs.

I felt... hungry.

But then I ate.

Now I'm a tad gassy.

Oh, the one-game playoff?

Been blocking it out, saving the anticipation for 7 PM EST.

Then I will lose rational thought.

Since today is being compared to Christmas, I will share a picture of my decorations:

How does this feel? What does this feel like?

The only comparison I can make is coming back from deployment (and/or the weeks leading up to it).

After 12-15 months of active duty and being stuck overseas, you want the journey to end positively... but you don't want to lose what you've got at that moment---that comradery born of total trust and focus.

You're thinking about everything that got you to that point, how you've grown from the journey and how you're about to cross [back] into something that seems so alien.

And though it's a tad cliche: No matter what happens after today, life will never really be the same.

Just gotta enjoy the moment and any other that spin off of it.

It's been a while since sports affected me so and it's just terrific!

Love this! And more importantly, thanks for your service. Can this game please just start already?
