Not sure what the future holds for Lambo. Not sure if he can become a starting OF somewhere, or a good extra OF here or somewhere..but a couple things I DO know. They kid has seemingly worked hard to overcome some issues. He had a phenomenal minor league season, and today he did what only a very small percentage of people do....hit his first major league HR.

His teammates really seemed to enjoy this moment today. Congrats to him.

I hope he gets a real opportunity to start next spring. I like him. What, 33 homers this year all told? Now if we could get Morneau one...

Straight uppercut swing. If he can manage the K's, he has the power and loft to hit some dingers in his time. All going to come down to the strikeouts I think.

Nice.

I called the Byrd HR two pitches before it left the yard. And I have a witness - Mrs. Bucfan heard the prediction.

It's funny. I had to go somewhere and went to turn the radio on and PITT was on the regular station, so I searched around and found Bucs' game right as Lambo was coming up, and I told my wife too that I bet he is going to hit his first HR!
