They are horrible.

They talk too much. The game seems secondary to their own talking points. Listening to these guys is akin to being stuck at a table with a group of people that love the sound of their own voices. Awful. Plus, for some ungodly reason, they switch back and forth between two crews every few innings.

I mean, for god's sake, when I had to listen to them during the Pirates series, they went entire innings without even giving you who was up to bat. Most amateurs aren't that bad.


Listening to the Pirates broadcast crews is heaven by comparison. They let the game breath, and by that I mean there is always a significant amount of time where no one is talking and they give way to the sound of the game. And when they are speaking, the game always feels like the priority over whatever small talk may be happening between the two.
