Not to nitpick or anything but I have 2 concerns heading into the final few weeks of the season.

1. Justin Wilson - Soild bullpen guy but he was throwing 92-93 tonight. Where did the 98-99 heat go?

2. Grilli - His confidence is shot after tonight. What do you do with him?

1. Unfortunately, I think the entire Bullpen is tired. Probably the result of overwork all season long. I just hope they can keep patching it together for the last couple weeks.

2. I think you keep running him out there. In two of these games, a borderline pitch killed him...followed up by bad results. I think he is close.

Yes, that pitch was a strike. He gets that call we win. Human element and all that jazz.

1. The sooner the Bucs wrap up the division and/or if they can get and hold bigger leads, the more the 'depth arms' can relieve guys like J-Wil from being overworked.

2. Grilli's confidence is fine. He was said to have 'danced off the mound' thinking he had struck out the side, only to have been robbed of the call. If anything, like A.J., it's his intensity that he needs to keep in check.

Nothing. Pitchers give up HRs over the course of a 6-month season.

Wilson has been averaging 95+ recently. I think the velo drop was likely weather related.

Bryan Morris is not pitching his best coming down the stretch, either, after being pretty tough to hit this summer.

I can't agree on the overwork, with the possible exception of Wilson.

I'll say that Grilli is close when I start seeing a fastball at 93-95 instead of 91. If the playoffs started tomorrow, he wouldn't be on my roster.
