Too nervous to post.

Do the Pirates go back to Morris at the bottom of the 8th? He got lucky throwing a hanger to Rios...

And you're surprised by this? Happens everywhere else on the interweb, why not here? Seems to me, people need to vent. When we're scoring runs, it's grab another drink or keep on at work. Maybe it's that misery prefers company, maybe we need comfort and support when we're losing, and maybe anger and bile are stronger emotions than happiness and elation.

Burnett needs a little anger management.

Ridiculous. He's has gone over the line too many times. Hurdle must sit him down and tell him about team play. Barmes doesn't position himself where he wants anyway. A double play might require him to be where the bench put him. Burnett should take care of pitching strikes and worry about his own stuff.
His selfish attitude is going to bring this team down if it continues. He decided not to go to the minors for rehab? He decided we should wear black on a 90 degree day in Texas? He decides where the ss should play? -- Bull shit--- This is the Pittsburgh Pirates not the Burnett Pirates, and he should not be the decision-maker.

AJ has stellar numbers early in the game. Then they drop off. That's 100% on AJ, the defense isn't shifting differently and the hot/cold zones on hitters on certain pitches don't shift from AB-to-AB.

I agree, he needs to focus more on guys walking and squaring pitches up more than complaining about the shifts. He's stared down Mercer a bunch of times, too.

Morris is keeping the ball far too up in the zone. His strength should be getting hitters to pound the ball into the ground. So far...flirting with danger ... pitching from behind.

Bullpen needs to start throwing strikes and getting ahead in the count. They did that in the first half of the season. Not so much lately.

Getting Grilli back to 90% of the "pre-injury" Grilli would do wonders for the 'pen.

I won't argue with that defensive play.

Anyone up for giving Farnsworth an extra run or 4?

I love Neal Huntington's ability to find scrapheap bullpen gems.
