Balentien was a bit of a ballyhooed prospect with the Rainers (Mariners AAA) way back when, too.

Everyone knew he was AAAA (like Juan Thomas before him and Carlos Peguero after), but it's still funny to make the mandatory joke:

'Another Mariner succeeds after he leaves!'

He hit a legit 500-footer for the Reds in 2009, against the Bucs. Probably the only legit homerun ever hit at GABP.
