...is the decision to bring up Gerrit Cole and foregoing his super 2 status. He has not been spectacular and you can certainly see areas of his game where growth is needed BUT he has been a major contributor to the success of this team. Cheap Nuttings!

He has not been spectacular, but has been good. VERY GOOD at times. And I think the experience of this year, plus the chance to work with vets like AJ and Liriano, will help him in the future.

I know your post was not knocking him, but complementing the Nuttigs. I'm just sayin'!

I haven't forgotten about it, but I think it made sense, both from a baseball standpoint and a PR standpoint, to keep him on the roster.

You don't hear talk about his innings limit lately. Is he just going to keep taking his regular turn?
