That's great. What? They didn't want Brian Morris?

Not sure why we'd want to give up Morris over Black...especially when the basis of the trade in the first place was about winning this year. Black may be the better future prospect, but Morris is better right now. Especially with Grilli's status still somewhat uncertain.

I had to go to fan graphs, so I was told. So from what I see, Morris is a contact pitcher based on his low strikeout total in 57 innings of work. No problem there but his hits against numbers are high and his walk rate is way to high for a contact pitcher.

Them I also use my eyes, I've watched him all year and I don't feel good when he's called upon. So......

Did I do this right? With the bucs pitching depth, Morris could've been expendable. My post was sarcastic anyways so I thought I'd give it a shot. Victor Black throws hard, don't know much about him, just from what I saw of him for a few games.

Fangraphs will tell you that in the past month, opposing batters are hitting .340 off of Morris.

I don't think losing a potential reliever is really that big for this team mainly because of NH's track record with RP and the fact that Black probably wasn't going to be a huge factor this year anyway.

I view Black as the guy you say "coulda been..." after he blows out his elbow or shoulder with those mechanics.
