That was sarcasm but ok.

Neil Walker, still hitting it hard. Thought that one was getting out.

Sarcasm, yes. :D. Not my best effort. Nice hitting that inning to grab the lead back. Cole could use a clean shut down inning here in the top half of the 6th.

Nice bounce back from a rough inning. Didn't squander the lead and worked efficiently.

Outside of the one inning, he was pretty damn good. And it seemed like he was going with the offspeed stuff moreso than in previous starts. Giving him some more leash.

I'll certainly take a start like that any day. Way to rebound after the tough inning and get through 6.

Gpmez with a very nice couple of innings, including striking out Goldschmitt on three pitches. And that takes some doing. I'd like to see him stay in for the 9th....

Sure has. They were talking on the broadcast about what an unsung player he's been this year and I agree. And to think, I used to slam them for putting him in in April because he sucked. He doesn't suck. YOU DON'T SUCK, JEANMAR!

Was thinking the same thing buttttt then decided that if it were me I'd go with Melancon.

"Only" four runs but the Bucs are hitting the ball and hitting it hard against guys you'd expect an MLB team to hit. That's always good.

JOEY TABATS! Jussssst missed switching out Lambo for Joey T in JC's epic fantasy league, but whatevs. Do your thing Tabats.

Now I'd allow Jeanmar to go out and get him a save, even with all of that ninth-inning pressure.

Small nit to pick, but this doesn't seem like an inning that needs to be added to Melancon's workload.

Exactly. Didn't pitch in yesterday's game because no save, but pitches now. Hurdled....
