1. The Pirates will have won their 82nd game before they get on the plane to leave Milwaukee on September 4.

2. 96 wins

Over or under. Gentlemen (and DocJean)?????????? :?: :D

1.). Yes, 28 games till then if I can count right and I see no reason they can't win 15 of them.

2.). Harder call, I'll take the under at 95.

September 3rd for win 82. 95 wins also sounds about right, so I'll go with the under. They will win the last regular season home game against the Reds though, or at least they better since I will be there!!!!

Thanks for playing Chris. Damn I was thinking people were too superstitious to hazard a guess. :-)

To be honest it's not superstition with me, more joyous apathy.

It doesn't matter when the Bucs break 81 or how many wins above it they finish, it just needs to happen (and is looking like it will)!

I'm going under and under. 80 wins heading to Milwaukee. 94 wins to finish the year, second in the division and an elimination home playoff game against the Reds. Oh boy.

And oh would that be sweet to win #82 in that chamber of horrors of the last few years! :D

Wow, forgot my own predictions on my own thread.

82 wins before 9/4: Under.

96 Wins: Push, right on the number. :D

Check your math, Teach.
You wrote that they would have win #82 before they get on a plane in Milwaukee. That bet is still open.

Yeah, I realize that. I was just commenting that it turned out to be close on the nose. I love the thought of Liriano going for it tomorrow.
