Depends on the situation. You don't want to have to PH again next inning because you have a pitcher coming up to bat.

Not unreal. Look at last years numbers. He does okay after June.

Yup. It allowed Wilson to pitch a second inning.

But why take out Tabata? Besides our pinch hitters are sub .200. We can't do much worse letting the pitcher hit.

Ill say i didn't like stretching Wilson an extra inning to face three righties because you weren't tied, but, hey, it worked.

A's announcers just said Marte's swing was the worst they had seen.

He looked like he was trying to pull everything tonight. Hips flying open.

Why would you have mckenry hitting for tabata?

I wish they would trade gaby. He's worthless! Bucs needs some bats. Stranded 10 runners tonight! Hope they make some trades. Get rid of gaby, Inge and barmes please! Wasted effort by Locke.

I know people don't want to hear this. But starting to feel like déjà vu again.

Mckenry wasn't hitting for tabata. There was a double switch, he was hitting for the pitcher.

"Wasted effort by Locke."....my thoughts also, but quite frankly, I expected it with the way we have been scoring.

I know I'll be crucified for this but I would have bunted him on his second AB with Tabata, Cutch and Alvarez coming up.

A run there would have been huge. Instead, Marte Ks and the complexion of the inning is vastly different.

I wouldn't say you'd be crucified, i just disagree because he doesn't seem to be that good at bunting on. From what I've seen, at least.

They probably said it after he chased that pitch that bounced before the plate. I'm guessing it was then because I said the exact same thing
