Bucs are on pace to set a record for worst pitcher hitting ever (not counting AL teams), so I don't know how much of an advantage we'll derive from that. But it's still nice to get one of their bats out of the lineup.

Am I wrong to think that our pitchers have been extremely generous to the opposing pitchers in the batters box? It seems like we have given up a ton of walks and hits to the opposing pitchers considering how good our pitching has been.

Anecdotally, I agree with you 100%. Don't have time to check out the actual stats here but it seems like you are right-on here.

Maybe looks that way in part due to the awfulness that is the Pirate pitcher hitting.
