The Cubs lineup is pretty crappy today...Rizzo has really struggled that much they dropped him in the lineup?

The Buccos hit the ball hard in the top of the first but get nothing to show for it.

Starlin Castro is having a terrible season. It's unreal that he is posting a sub-.600 OPS. With Rizzo struggling their line-up might be worse than Houston's.

And it's early July and we're facing Samardjiza for the fourth time.

Way to go liriano. Too bad someone got gunned down at third.

Mercer needed to not give himself up so easy. Martin is not a speed burner. Big hit by Mr. L. after a intentional walk to get to him.

Well, the fact that Martin doesn't have speed is the reason Mercer got caught up, he figured they'd try to nab him at the plate.

Seems like those little things seem to come back and bite you in the ass. A team that is struggling offensively can't afford to be giving up runs.

They didn't say much on the broadcast about it, so it had me a little lost.

Cubs announcer said the catcher was peeved that the throw was cut......I guess it was the best option. No mater, walk and a dinger and we are behind again......God I hate walks. :(

Cubs announcers are so much more tolerable with Bob Brenly finally gone. Len Kasper has always been okay but Brenly's "I can't believe this guy managed a team to the World Series" level of atrociousness made the broadcasts insufferable.
