Let's hope Hurdle's 2nd choice this inning has more success.

Barmes should thrown home, but cost us another run. Why is that guy starting?

...Because Jordy has played in every game since June 15th?

There have been several mental errors and poor approaches at the plate this series.

There has got to be a guy in the stands that can hit better than barmes.

Come on bucs, get those bats rolling now!

My issue has been all these stranded runners left on base.

Well the radio crew did mention that Manny Sanguillen paid them a visit to the booth, so...

The bad news is after that "bad" inning, we get to see Mr. Hamels for a few more innings.

Manny was the best bad ball hitter ever.that guy would hit balls that were outside of the plate. Good choice.

Isn't Hamels like 2-11?

I know that Cole Hamels has had a fantastic career but how many times this year have we had a pitcher with a 6+ ERA or a horrible record shut us down? he is 2-11. Blanton from LAA was 1-10 and he did well against us even though we got to their bullpen and won the game.... Estrada from Milwaukee had a very high ERA and went 7 innings and gave up 4 hits against us....Gee from the Mets had an ERA in the 6's and beat us with one run over 5 innings....Gio Gonzalez had an ERA in the 5's and beat us....Edwin Jackson had an ERA in the 6's and was 1-8 and went 7 innings and gave up one run against us... these should be the guys that we hit well off of.

Cole Hamels has made Pedro look like an eight year old girl trying to get a hit.

Opposing teams probably say similar things about Jeff Locke and Jeanmar Gomez.

Hamels FIP/xFIP: 3.66/3.60

Unless someone has been under a rock for 10 years, noboby should be shocked to see Hamels pitch lights out.

Player - 2013 xFIP - 2013 SIERA

Hamels - 3.73 - 3.74
Blanton - 3.65 - 3.70
Estrada - 3.95 - 3.78
Gonzalez - 3.64 - 3.80
Jackson - 3.81 - 3.89
Gee - 3.93 - 3.87

Liriano - 2.94 - 3.30
Burnett - 3.08 - 3.23
Wandy - 4.07 - 3.95
Locke - 4.19 - 4.52
Gomez - 4.23 - 4.35
Cole - 4.23 - 4.37
Morton - 4.50 - 3.80

Can we stop pretending that these pitchers with high ERAs suck? Mike Zagurski had a high ERA because he sucks, these guys have/had high ERAs for other reasons

Don't even bother, he was railing on Jordy yesterday.

Pitcher win-loss record is irrelevant. Everything you need to know about a pitcher is in his peripheral stats.

It's like RBIs for hitters. Both are entirely based on the team behind you.
