He was moved to #3 catcher and was told he would be used as a pinch hitter. So, he walked out Friday night before the start of the game. His numbers aren't good, but are better than the catchers above him...Miami must really be a mess.

Quote:
“They say we need you for pinch-hitting,” Olivo, 34, said.

“I said I’ve never been a pinch-hitter in my life. That’s not my game.”

Quote:
“I’m just praying to God they release me and don’t be selfish,” he said. “I’ve been very professional. I’ve done everything I could to help the team. They’re only hurting one person, and that’s me. I’m a nice person. I don’t want to hurt nobody.”

I don't know how anyone can support that team with that owner.

Lots of shit owners out there, but Loria is in a category all his own.

Almost 25 years of Jerry Jones, and I care much less about the Cowboys than I used to....

I'm A Bills fan and Ralph Wilson really hasn't done much, but at least he hasn't raped the area for a new stadium? Then flipped off all the fans... Part of me says after he did it to
Montreal, Miami deserves it, but nobody deserves that. Not even Miami.

It's not even about the stadium or the salary dumps, it's the fact that the guy making decisions is involved in a new fight with players every month. He has guys openly saying they don't want to play for him. It's such petty behavior from a professional sports owner.
