"Watching" via gamecast ... tuned in with game tied, bases loaded, 1 out, Jones up. Reds bring in lefty and I'm thinking, "Why did Hurdle bat lefties back-to-back?"

Now I know ... oh, and Pedro is heating up, just like he did last year around this time. If Cutch can get hot and Marte keep hitting, Bucfan's mood will improve quite a bit. :D

I love it when you're wrong too. Good thing it happens a lot. ;-)

Who pitches the 8th? Has to be Watson, doesn't it?

Let's not waste a lead-off double. Get that run back.

Close.

So . . . who closes the game? Watson? Radio guys haven't indicated that someone is warming up. Who comes in if Watson falters?

Morris seems like he has the goods to be third in line for closer. Too bad he was already used.

We'll cross that bridge when we get to it. In the meantime, given the 2-run lead and lack of real hitters coming up in the 9th, Watson is a fine choice to close.

Watson made it look easy in the 9th. Well done. Was afraid Welker might have been forced to pitch a save situation his first time on a major league mound.
