1. It happened. The bats went cold, they faced excellent pitching, one of our most reliable relievers gave up a win in the 11th etc. Move on! (I bet Hurdle said the same thing in the lockerroom Wednesday)

2. Its almost double digits into June and they were swept in exactly TWO, (count 'em two) series.

3. They are ten games over .500 after a brutal opening schedule that had, even some of the most optimistic guys on this board, saying things like, "Man I hope they can be no more than 5 games UNDER .500 after this stretch."

4. Had I told you on Opening Day that they would be ten games over .500 after a three game sweep in Atlanta, you would all be doing back flips!

5. Now come on bats, start jacking them out of Wriggley while Liriano, AJ and Locke keep shutting the door.

6. Let's Go Bucs!

Not a hamburger, but maybe a weiner...if you know what I mean.

A burger/whiskey joint. Two of my favorite things.

Some of those burgers are positively obscene. Just think, somebody came up with the idea to make a burger with two half pound patties, then said, "Wait a minute, that isn't enough. I know, I'll throw some bacon on there!"

They can be found at Market Square and Carson St. on the South Side.
