JaCoby Jones in round 3. They certainly have a type. Big athlete. Was holding out hope for Tellez. Oh well.

He's a very good athlete, but the Ravens are probably paying him more than the Pirates will.

Well played.

Cody Dickson in round 4. Projectible lefthander from Sam Houston State. Touches 95. Sounds like a Justin Wilson type of pick.

Bucs end the day going prep SS, college SS, tall RHP, tall RHP, tall RHP, tall RHP.

Draft wraps up tomorrow.

Pirates seemed to be getting some praise for the first 4 rounds...that's when most of the chats wound up ending but the mentions were all positive.

I have the Mississippi State vs UVA game on in the background and Frazier from Mississippi State who we took in the 6th round is very good.

Can really hit and put up a nice season at the plate with a .340+ average. They don't seem to think he can stick at short but might wind up another solid utility guy who can hit. Maybe another Josh Harrison type in that regard.

The Prep SS IS supposed to stick at short though.
