I'm so pumped for this weekend. My three day baseball odyssey begins! I'm looking forward to meeting up with No. 9 and having a cold beverage with him!

Side note, I may try and convince his daughter that Iowa State is the correct university for her.

Go Bucs Go! Have fun today. Good pitching match-up both today and tomorrow. Not sure that Wood and Smarvnoafhuavbnuerhauhfabnjia will be what the Bucs' offense needs.

Remember when Wood shut down the Pirates in the opening series and we all thought they should have killed him?

Looking more and more like they performed how they should have.

I said at the time that I thought the Reds made the wrong decision when they chose Mike Leake over Travis Wood as their back of the rotation guy and threw Wood in the package deal for Sean Marshall. Not that it really matters much in their situation and their SP depth (well, not so much depth, but the four others in the rotation).

While the Cubs struggled against James McDonald and we thought that clearly JMac >> Wood.
