As I said earlier this series with the Astros had me sweating bullets:

1. Should have lost Friday's game, but won.

2. Lost last night.

3. Just win good today and rebalance the karma.

That's all.

Gotta take 2/3 from teams like Houston to give yourself a margin for error against good teams later in the season.

Let's Go Bucs!

Atleast when you struggle offensively against a bad team you still have a chance at winning. If this were a weekend series against St. Louis you are probably looking at the Pirates needing a win today to keep from getting swept.

Thus far in the series, including the first 2 innings today, the Astros starting pitching - which nobody on the planet suggests is remotely good - has posted the following:

13 IP, 11 H, 3 BB, 8 K's, 3 ER.

2.08 ERA, 1.08 WHIP

Whew!!!!!!!!

Ok I was positively terrified about this series versus this team! They got over it, and now the offense will pound the Cubs.

Go Bucs
