Cutch may be late game hero but Russell Martin's influence on this team is - without a doubt - MONSTROUS. What a different feel to the game with him behind the plate. Night and day from last night's Little League display.

Pantene Pro-V. Best post-game quote. Ever.

You got that right BBF. I don't know how some guys can even call themselves fans! It seems like some "fans" are almost joyous when some guys do poorly!

I want the team to win! Pedro is not at a major league par level! He's got to be the worst starting third baseman in the majors. He's is the weakest bat in our line up! He needs to be sent to AAA.

Worst 3b in the league?? Hmmmm, let's see.

Even with a horrible, crappy BA, here is what he has done so far.

He is 2nd in NL in HR by 3b.
He is 5th in RBI among 3b.
He is 9th in OPS among 3b.
He is 10th in runs among 3b.

Worst in the league?

It was good. I see a commercial in the future! He should have said he'd need to call Troy Polomalu to borrow some shampoo!

Truth.

Saw Martin in the starting line-up and felt that perhaps the Brewers would not steal a zillion bases. Sure enough, Martin guns Braun.

Hey, Ryan, maybe a little more

Or perhaps he can blame the Fed Ex delivery guy?

I also feel that Martin's enthusiasm for the game is infectuous. He plays hard, he has his teammates' backs and making good things happen on the field.

How did my original post turn into a game thread? That's weird.

I was trying to empathize with a Maple Leafs fan. And explain to everyone that there is only one way to bury the last two decades.

I dropped the ball. ;) I'm working on today's now!

EDIT: I will not be starting a game thread. After reading No. 9's thought process on changing things up against the 'Roid Ragers...I will not start a game thread. Let's see if this works...

After a win without a game thread? NOOOOOOOOO!!!

So long as the Buccos are beating the Brew Crew, feel free to discuss the game in this thread.
