Jose goes yard. Would rather see Pedro against lefties. Inge adds little to nothing but a decent glove off the bench and should be reserved to pinch hitting duties. Liriano has a clean delivery.

By the way, here's a Liriano AB from his rehab stint with Indianapolis that you might be interested in seeing ...

I also would rather see Alvarez. I'd give him a day off once in a while but not this often. Especially if you're playing Inge instead of Pedro.

Inge is a player whose contributions are going to be marginal and short term. Alvarez is a key part of our future.

Jordy freaking Mercer! Oh yeah, Wright is a great defender down at the hot corner.

Tabata is really seeing the ball well. Another hard hit ball driving in Cutch. 6-0 buccos.

Bucs pouring it on. Plenty of run support for Liriano. Important to get this win. Tough game tomorrow against Harvey. He'll get his against any team and wont give up a lot. Big strikeout pitcher. Hopefully the bucs can get another solid start from Gomez.

Bucs busting out all over. This is fun. Liriano is everthing I hoped he would be.

Walker will be back soon. Who gets cut? I'm guessing John McDonald. I don't care for Inge either but the Pirates seem to like him.

Inge has done well as a Pirate, and I like the versatility and bench HR power he brings. That and a bunch of A's from last year swear up and down that he was intimately responsible for their breakout year (yep, intangibles).

Francisco is dealing today. If he is for real, AJ, Wandy, Locke and him plus whoever makes us very legit.

Well there goes the shutout. Liriano tiring, but great outing.
