I was thinking along the same lines. If they need someone to make a spot start Oliver would be a likely candidate. Welker has also pitched well, 12 innings and no earned runs.

Cardinals/Pirates are one of the funniest rivalries in baseball. They seem to have one of these spats every season. I want to see what happens when El Toro gets a chance to charge the mound.

Sanchez was terrible in spring training, which earned him a spot in the rotation. Again there HAS TO BE someone better in AAA. Why keep running Sanchez out there? Why is he even here in the first place?

Not sure if anyone posted this, but Sanchez has been suspended 6 games which he will appeal.

Dejan had a nice tweet, he said Sanchez, the pirates, and every other team in the NL will be appealing his suspension.

Anybody at AAA or AA would be better than Sanchez vs Milwaukee Wednesday.
