- Indianapolis beat Toledo 7-2. Gerrit Cole had another short start due to his pitch count, being pulled after two innings. He struck out three batters in the first inning and two in the second, and gave up a solo HR and a double, 5 hits in total. Vic Black also gave up a HR in relief. Offensively, Brett Carrol went 3-4. Brandon Inge went 0-5 with 3Ks and is hitting .087.

- Bradenton dropped to 0-6, losing a close game 3-2 in extras. At least it didn't go the normal way to this point of their pitching staff getting collectively hammered (well, that's not really true, they gave up 12 hits, just managed to only give up 3 runs). Zach Thornton blew the save. The Marauders only had 6 hits, one of which was a double by Gregory Polanco.

- Altoona was rained out, so let's go to West Virgina. Josh Bell homered and doubled and Stetson Allie continued to hit (he also went 4-6 yesterday after homering in each of the last two games). The Power got a strong start from Clay Holmes with 5IP, giving up 2 hits and striking out 3.

Pretty sure he is being held back in Florida like they did with Taillon hist 1st year. That way they can limit his innings and allow him to miss out on a cold April, I bet he moves there in early May.

Heredia is still at Extended Spring Training. Saw him there this past Monday.
I will be there today for pictures and will see if he is still there.

I'm keeping an eye on Jarek Cunningham as a possible break out candidate this year. He was born on Christmas Day, 1989. This was the very day that Billy Martin was killed in a car accident, and Romanian dictator Nicolea Ceausescu was executed by his own people, left in a ditch with a steaming bullet hole in his head. But I digress...

He's not too old for AA, and has had injuries that have held him back. We'll see what clicks.

He had an oblique issue, but is just catching up on at bats now. He should be at high A soon enough, which coincidentally is in Bradenton.

Yesterday's WV game was postponed and concluded today ... Bell added another double and Allie homered.

So does Allie have a good enough arm to remain at 3B?
