As I read with great interest of DK's trip to the Dominican in his articles and on the PG blog, I learned several very important things:

I learned that the Dominican economy is very depressed and most young boys see baseball as the way out of poverty.

I learned that Rene Gayo is a very intimidating yet caring, complex yet simplistic oxymoron of a man.

I learned that the Pirates commitment to that region now is in stark contrast to how it has been ignored for the past several years.

But most of all, I learned that DK's wife is REALLY HOT!

At first I thought she looked an awfully like Derrick Turnbow, but then I realised she was further down the page. DK did good!

Id guess she can get a pitch over the plate more often than Turnbow, too.
