"Issue with left leg" reports Kristy Robinson. Only following the game on Gameday so I didn't actually see it.

Let's hope what we saw from Jeanmar Gomez: the excellent long reliever in LA was for real.

He had some type of cramp or muscle soreness to the back of his right leg. He tried to work it loose for a while, with no success.

It did not look serious and is not an arm injury.

Worse than a cramp; got to be a hamstring.

Didn't think we would see that again.

Wishful thinking. He isn't fooling anyone right now.

Yeah, there was some sarcasm there, pre-season I questioned exactly why Gomez made the team (just like Inge, McDonald and Harrison).

Everything is up and over the plate. Bad combo.

Back-to-back singles, sac bunt (that fortunately got the lead runner), fly out, running up a full count before inducing a grounder. Ladies and gentlemen: Portrait of an Effective Jeanmar Gomez.

Justin Wilson ... holy crimony, he is dealing. Spotting a 96-97 mph fastball on both sides of the plate, and dropped a hammer of a curve on the bad guys' Marte.

Play manager ... you let him come out for the 8th or do you go with Melancon?

As tempting as it would be to stick with Wilson, I'm going with Melancon.

Not even a question. Melancon is the set-up guy, let him do his job. No way you stretch Wilson to 4IP when the bullpen is already going to depleted with a SP going tomorrow who isn't exactly notorious for going deep into games.
