Hey, guys.. my wife works at PNC Bank's Operations Center Branch in Cleveland. She got the job last spring. Today she'll be at
headquarters One PNC Plaza.

Will she be near the stadium?? She's only there for five hours or so today, will return next week.

I think PNC's operations center is on the Monongahela side of downtown. So she would have to cross downtown then cross the Allegheny to get to PNC. About a 15 minute walk. But too cold today to make that walk. Could take the T.

Too cold, LOL, I have been fighting food poisoning since Friday night, so I went down closer to game time, 11:45 ish. I had to park in the old dirt lot by the West End bridge (and pay $30 for it), way past the Casino. That was a hike (a good 20-25 min) for me with no solid food and my 4 year old. :o

The Pirates really need to do something about weekday day game parking. Its the same bs for a random Thursday at noon. They don't clear the new garages or lots by PNC of weekly lease holders. The only open lots are by the Science center (which was also closed for some reason) and further away. Traffic gets completely jammed by an hour and a half before the game because there is almost no where to go. Half of the crowd misses the first 2 innings. Even sell out night games don't have this issue because the lots are actually available.

How did they let control over parking escape their grasps?

There used to be a neat parking place on (I think it was) Marchant St., with a short walk to the park. It was always easy to get in and out of. It may well be either gone now or charging stratospheric prices.

The Mob owns the parking....there is an app on the IPhone that will allow you to see what and where there is parking downtown. Real-time. I don't know if they have one for android. Down load it and it will tell you were you can park closer to town the next time you head down to see a game.
