Taillon's work is done, a nice outing against Boston - went 2 innings, a 1-2-3 first with a pair of Ks swinging (one of those victims being Brock Holt). He gave up a single and a walk the next inning with led to an unearned run on a groundout and error by Josh Harrison, and added another K to end the inning.

Brock Holt, Lyle Overbay, Drew Sutton and Davis Ross all in the Red Sox line-up.

Pirates got a 3-run HR from Jared Goedert in the second, after Inge and Robinson both singled.

Rough outing by Jonathan Sanchez in the third, who gives the runs back by loading the bases and giving up a two-run single.

Three hits and four walks given up by Sanchez in 2/3 of an inning. I'll take "How Not To Impress in Spring Training" for $500, Alex.

Not that it's fair to compare Sanchez with organizational depth but if you thought that was bad check out Zach Foster's line who came in to relieve him.

Felix Pie went deep.
