A look at the development of Jeff Karstens

Potential Remaining Moves for the Pirates this offseason

Pirates sign Lucas May and Brad Hawpe to minor league deals
Pirates sign amateur teenage pitcher from Australia, Nick Hutchings

A youtube video of a Joel Hanrahan interview
Winter League Updates - Starling Marte included

Enjoy!

Farnsy just signed with TB. I think I could like the KRod idea, I'm sure NH will add a vet reliever on a minor league deal to give us another option.

I think payroll is already at $67 million with signing bonuses and such. I wouldn't expect another MLB deal at this point.

From my point (I didn't write the Further Moves article) I agree we're probably pretty set.

Good stuff.

While any of the 'big three' relievers left over would be good signings, not sure extra bullpen depth is what the Bucs need. Also, KRod/Wilson/Valverde are probably more likely to sign with a 'contender'.

Still, good thinking.
