Anyone still holding out hope that Mark Cuban might eventually reverse the fortunes of the Pirates (or the Cubs, for that matter) should probably avert their eyes.

Doesn't sound good for MtLebo's favorite son.

I still wish he would have bought the Pirates.

What is it with people who want to buy the Pirates getting mixed up in criminal activity. First John Rigas and now Cuban? Did OJ ever make a bid on the Bucs?

When did Cuban ever state a desire to own the Pirates?

I believe OJ's words were he'd kill to own the Pirates...

When told that he had qualified for ownership, OJ responded that he was going to search for "the real owners."

It's since gotten overshadowed by his bid to buy the Cubs, but, yes, Cuban's made noise in the past about buying the Pirates.
