Yeah, I think Clint locked himself in for 2013 with his contract and OK production.

I posted this more as a, grass isn't always greener on the other side type of thing. If you look at the FA available last year, there wasn't' much as far as SS goes, everyone seemed to agree that Furcal was the best. Well, based on his 2nd half he would have been lambasted as much as Barmes was the first half. If you look at Clint's career numbers I believe his 2nd half numbers are the real Clint and if so, that can be lived with until a long term SS is found. Meaning that if we don't find one in the offseason, there is no need to panic. I also don't believe the guy from Toronto, who will be 30 next year, is something we should go after.

Stick with Clint.

If the Bucs are going to bring in FA's, it needs to be C, the pen, a solid SP and/or a LEGIT 1B/SS.

No need to add fringe starters.

They also sniffed around JJ Hardy who is only hitting .239 but has 22 HR's, 29 2b's, and 68 rbi's. Crappy OBP but would of fit in with our all or nothing team. I would say that is a little greener than Barmes. Hardy also only has 6 errors to Barmes 16.
