Why does CH think Marte is a leadoff hitter??? Please tell me its not because of his speed. They would be better off with Snider or Neil hitting 1st.

Hey, the Brewers get Hart back today, great!

Here we go Aoki on base, Barajas catching.

Edit - Aoki at 3B, go figure.

OK, how many innings would it take for us to score 4 runs against the Brewers today?

Another out on the bases.

Barmes's bobble costs us a run in the top, Marte's gaffe costs us a chance in the bottom.

Pretty much sums up the last month of baseball. It is crazy how they went so bad so quickly nothing gradual about it.

I once got thrown out trying to go from 2nd to 3rd on a grounder to the SS. I felt like the biggest idiot in the world. Then again, I was 12 years old.

This is where it might be time for a different voice in the dugout/clubhouse. Hurdle is a great rah-rah player friendly guy, they might need a butt kicking in this case.

Bob Walk was stunned on the radio, Greg Brown tried to make a rookie excuse and Walk said you learn this in the gulf coast league, being a rookie is no excuse. I still think Walk would be a decent choice as a manager.

The bucs need for this to happen to them. The constant losing.

I like Scrap Iron as much as anybody (hence my handle), but I can't say he's been overly successful as a manager (though he wouldn't be afraid to turn over a post-game meal table if needed...like any time over the past 6-7 weeks).

Sounds like the Brewers just got a gift run. Marte nailed him and he never touched the plate.

I hear that if the Pirates can record their 20th losing season, they will wear a " L " patch on their uniforms next year. I don't think I need tell you what the L stands for.

This.

I was thinking today how much better Cutch would be if he had a true hammer hitting behind him - sort of like Clemente had Pops, Mays had McCovey, etc. Would really take a lot of pressure off of Cutch....when the team starts to sink I think he tries to do too much.
