Pay, it looks like he stole someone's uniform and was sitting in the dugout...

Wow, I'm running on empty today!

Ok, so the game started at 10:45 CDT. I got to the stadium just before first pitch and there were no scalpers, no ticket windows...nothing. People either sold their tickets hours ago or just left. I held my finger in the air in hopes someone, anyone, would see. I had a "professional" scalper come up to me and offer me a ticket for...get this...$20. Good Lord. Obviously I declined the offer. Once the game started and I still didn't have a ticket this little old lady in a Cubs jersey came up to me and said to follow her. I did, we walked right in and she said "sit anywhere". I did.

Thankfully it was a pretty quick game. We kept teasing the lady working the aisles saying the game was going extra innings. She didn't think that was so funny. It was a great experience. The camaraderie among the fans was fantastic. We knew that everyone in there was going to be hurting the next day.

I need 5:00 to get here so I can get some sleep. I'm not as young as I used to be...

I thought the game had been rained out. i turned on espn to see the mnf final score and saw the bucs won 3-0. Toobad we lost sunday. Well i'm not holding my breathe, but anything can happen. If we can somehow get in the postseason. I mean the 1973 mets went to the world series with only 82 wins. The 1987 twins won the world series with only 85, and the 2006 cardinals won it with only 83 wins. And of course last years new york Giants won the sb with a 9-7 record.
