Solid start, JMac wiggles his way out of it.

What the crap, this guy wasn't even good in AAA and he's putting everyone in 2 strike counts.

JMac's control is not good. I feel another loss coming on.

Hurdle just called on McKenry to pitch, put Barajas in to catch, switched d'Arnoud in for Barmes hitting in the 9 spot, switched Garrett Jones to center field, Cutch to left, Gaby Sanchez in to play first, and has Jordy Mercer stretching out so he can pinch run next inning.

Can you blame him? Seriously?
At what point do you stop blaming the manager and lay responsibility at the feet of those who are supposed to get the job done on the field?

Freaking McDonald either can't throw a strike or he has turned into Kip Wells and fears throwing anything in the strike zone.

I think some of that responsibility has been laid on the players with all of the PIRATES SUCK AGAIN and clockwork collapse stuff. Just some of it. And the I'm done threads, and this team is killing me threads, etc. etc. But I'm sure I can find some more umbrage somewhere if you think it's necessary.

Looks to me like we've gone from concern to panic to embarrassment to humiliation to "let's get this season over with".......

Maybe if they rest the everyday starters from here out they'll come back a month fresher next spring and won't wear out until October, November instead of August September.
