Hmmm.. don't worry, gents.. I'll get the hang of these fonts[b]. I'm a little dense [b][color=#000000]but I think I can [b]figure [b]them out!

Well, first inning Snell looks good but Sanchez [color=#000000]grounded out
[color=#000080]Mc Louth [color=#000000] grounded out
[color=#0000BF]Bay [color=#000000]flew out

We'll get this thing together.. [b][i][color=#FF0000]don't worry. [i][b]GO BUCS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You want to talk about "unclutch?" I submit one Jose Bautista.

I realize Mientkiewicz is a left handed hitter and Jose has hit a little better as of late but I have no confidence in the bottom part of this order. Must Bautista and Bixler be in the same lineup?

With a soft tosser like Glavine, though he's a lefty, I'm waiting for Doumit to crush one into the bleachers tonight

Lanny said on May 22nd (the next player meet and greet before the game) Chris Peters is signing autographs...

And probably looking for employment

Really, really, really frustrating to watch the Pirates struggle against the garbage-time pitcher that Glavine has become.

Glavine throws just slightly harder than I do. His change is only 6-7 mph different than his "fastball." The vast majority of his stuff is soft, 75-80 mph, on the outside corner. Pirates really need to mash some of this garbage.

NOTE: Nady starts the inning well. Keep it going.

A Chris Peters autograph huh? I hear that and $7 will buy you a beer at PNC Park.

Seriously though, Chris Peters did win a Cy Young Award.**

**On MLB 03 video game, as played by BBF...Peters finished with a sub-2 ERA.

Again Ian didn't really deserve a win because of the walks but just once I'd like to see our hitters help him out.

Chris Peters circa 2003 = Tom Glavine today.

Any team that does not light up Glavine should be embarrassed. He is simply awful.

Now that was fun. Pitchers,pitchers, pitchers everywhere and not a run scored.

TIL Freddy came through again. Twice tonight He drives in runs to take the lead and then to win the game. He is getting in a grove now and this five in a row could be extended Saturday.

Most of the line up is now producing at least something. We need more from the 7 and 8 spot, but even Bixler got us going in the 9th tonight.

Starters are not getting us buried early in games. We can win if we don't fall behind by 4 or 5 in the first few innings.

Bautista got the inning rolling with a one-out single. Big, big hit. Bixler then hit into a force out, and I was not unhappy in trading Bautista on the bases for Bixler.

Mientk got a big hit to move Bixler to third and Freddy brought him in.

The game was also decided in the top of the 9th, when Grabow came into the game with 2 on, no outs. He fanned Kotsay on a real close pitch (3-2 count) then got the double play grounder. Great job by Grabow cleaning up a mess and getting the win.
