Hoping Barajas is just being AJ's caddie tonight and that Fort will be getting most of the starts here on in. Doubt it, but hope.

Does this go on with other teams where the pitcher will only work with one particular catcher?

I've seen it a number of times. Can't think of any examples right offhand, but yes, it happens.

He has caught 5 of last 8 or 6 of last 9..something like that, so he isn't just AJ's caddy. Clint Hurdle has lost me. I just don't get his moves anymore. Great talker, lousy manager I'm starting to think.

For us old-timers, Steve Carleton prolonged Tim McCarver's career for years by only pitching to him.

He seems to be the main catcher for Wandy due to Spanish translation

His 271 BA seems a little higher then Barajas

There was a late change to the Pirates' lineup. Harrison is at 3B, batting 2nd. Presley moved down to 6th.

Nothing like Presley-Barmes-Barajas to kill a rally...

Yeah...sadly I have more faith in our pitchers doing something with the bat than those guys...

Big play by Holt to end the inning and preserve the tie.

After the day I've had, I could really use a win tonight...

How embarrassing is it to be outsmarted by Dusty Baker? Pathetic.

I always looked at it as if the Pirates could fuck up a wet dream.

They would wake themselves up by snoring too loud!!!

Dear Santa,

I would like a catcher who can throw a baseball to 2nd base on the fly. As always, thank you very much.
