McKenry riding the pine after his performance yesterday is a fucking joke.

THis really brings back memories for me- daytime Labor Day games that actually mean something. The last one was 1997. The ones I really remember were in the 70s. Doubleheaders that started at 10:35. We had the ball game on the radio literally all day listening to Nellie and the Gunner.

I was just talking about that with someone this morning, I was getting my grill ready and listening to the 10:35 double header I can still recall it was a beautiful sunny day, seems just like yesterday

The equipment manager sewed the #2 onto the right side of the front of Brock Holt's jersey instead of the left.

Now *that* is going to bother me this whole game.

Just turned off the tv. Canceling mlb.com. This team has quit. Losers! Just watched that pathetic play by Barmes. The guy was daydreaming. Had a play at second, never even looked at 2nd base. Fumbling with the ball, missed play at first. Did someone pay him off? They quit on us, we didn't quit on them. See ya next year.

Look Pirates...

I KNOW it's Labor day, but you don't get to take the day off.

Houston is 3-16 in their last 19 games/20 days.

!@#$%^& WIN!!!

I really think we underestimate how good Cutch was and how he made up for everyone else being so bad. Now that Cutch is "normal", we look like last year's offense. I know that has nothing to do with the pitching, but Cutch is the catalyst. No doubt about it. .500 is in danger.

Agreed. This is over a month of horrible baseball, not just a couple games.
