Tough loss tonight. Glad August is over!!! The good news is that with the Cardinals and Braves losing, the Bucs did not lose any ground. The Dodgers are also currently down 3-0 to Arizona in the 5th. Of course, the pessemists would say that we could have GAINED ground and moved into one of wild card spots with a win. I choose to look at the positive. No lost ground.

STARTER: I know Karstens was hurt, but 4 runs, 5 hits, and only facing six batters is a HORRIBLE START. If he was hurt, he should have let management know.

LOSER: Karstens takes the loss to drop to

GOAT: And Karstens has to be the goat, sorry Jeff.

Honorable Mention: Presley went 2-4, plus a walk, and drove in 2 runs, but also made a error.

STAR #3: Pedro went 2-3, plus a walk.

STAR #2: Correia came in and gave us 4 solid shutout innings when we needed it.

STAR #1: GJones went 1-4 with a HR, driving in our first of two runs.
