That was the only question I had right off the bat, "Is this going to clear the stands?" Holy cow. That one had a vapor trail.

Great job, Wandy. One more inning like that and you have done exactly what the Pirates hoped for when they acquired you.

Alvarez sucks.

Also, Hurdle sucks. For playing the washed up Barajas, and for having McCutchen run with Alvarez at the plate.

I think Pedro likes hitting 5th better than 6th. I still think it's about time to move him to cleanup, but these two games he's done some pretty good cleaning up anyway. Just think of the fastballs Cutch would see with a hot Alvarez behind him.

Any chance Clint just lets Grilli buzz through the 9th as well? Oh, wait...

Hanrahan needs some work. I normally don't like seeing a closer in a non-save situation...but he needs to stretch out the arm.

If Hurdle had done that, then Grilli is not available tomorrow.

Off day tomorrow? Regardless, Hammer needed the work. Back to back shutouts. Too lazy to look it up, but gotta been awhile since the Bucs did that.

Fantastic win Buccos! Let's take this momentum into Milwaukee. Domination two nights in a row. You gotta love it.
