Fort doesn't speak Spanish?

Someone should put together a list of words you need to know in the pitcher's native tongue to be able to communicate on the mound. There can't be more than a few hundred. Then, look them up in Spanish and Japanese (any others? I can't think of any) and distribute the list to all minor league catchers to memorize. That would come in handy.

The reason to put the onus on the catchers: There are fewer catchers than there are pitchers.

Wandy has been playing in the States since 2001, I imagine he has some English skills.

I don't know.

Sammy Sosa forgot his English overnight, so...

Read that he's day-to-day. Not going on the DL.

September 1st is Saturday. Rosters will expand. No real need to go on DL. More than enough extra bodies will be hanging around.

Still 15 minutes before gametime, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say there are going to be more empty seats than full tonight.

Simple. Clint is unwaveringly loyal to his veterans. One of his frustrating managerial character traits...

Hate the empty stadium, hate the high pitch count already...

Got the most reactionary fan in the world sitting behind me. Wandy gives up a 2-out single and he yells, "YANK HIM!!!"

If only Pedro and the Bucs could play them every game! He'd hit like 80 HR's!

Also, having seen him a few times now, I'm officially a Travis Snider fan. He's everything I wanted Tabata to be.

Is the magic back? When was the last time any team pitched around any of our players? Never remember anyone pitching around Garrett Jones, so this is such a positive sign. Atta boy Pedro!
