Sorry. There are still 3 weeks left in the season. We can't just stop making game threads.

GO BUCS!

Let's see...who wins?

1.) Glasnow?
2.) Anderson?
3.) The Pirate batters?
4.) The Brewer batters?
5.) The HP Ump?
6.) A combination of the above?
7.) None of the above

Kind of like a poll question! :D

All of these questions going through my mind before the game begins.

Ump sucks. Inning should have been over 15 pitches ago.

Glasnow with pretty much the exact same results as earlier in the season.

Glasnow hasn't looked good by any means but he's also had some rotten luck. A TERRIBLE ball 4 call in the first inning, and three runs driven in on broken bat hits.

Just got home on turned the game on and I see he gave up 5 runs, 5 walks and 4 hits over 2 and 2/3 innings. TV guys are not making any excuses for him but allude to some bad calls. Either way it sucks on many levels. The only good thing is if the Cubs get overtaken by the Brewers we could say we helped. Like that means a lot.

There was bad luck and really bad umpiring, but this was the same old Glasnow. Very slow, painful to watch, and missed the catcher's glove on about 4 of his 5 pitches, often by a wide margin.

While I haven't seen a whole lot of Glasnow, when I have seen him he has some of the worst body language I've seen. He gives off the impression that he doesn't think he really belongs out there - and until that changes he's not going anywhere.

I don't think he knows how to handle things going poorly on thw mound. He strikes me as a guy who is used to things going smoothly in his favor out there.

Right here. This is the hump he's got to get over. Yogi was right- 90% of baseball is mental. The other half is physical. One of these nights, he's going to throw 6 or 7 innings of 1 run baseball, and the world will open for him. He will prove to himself that he belongs. I don't like the body language, either.
