What a dick.

I don't remember Mark McGwire or Albert Pujols taking one in the back in retaliation when Rick Ankiel was throwing balls at people when he lost his control?

That he is. I have wanted someone to punch him in his big fat face for years and knock those outdated tinted glasses off his head. Oh, and mess up his 70s haircut.

LaRussa and Gibson: Both the dictionary definition of Backpfeifengesicht

Leave it to the Germans to come up with a word like that, perfect.

They have a word for everything.

I imagine the Diamondbacks will be one of the league's most disliked teams pretty soon if that's how they behave on a regular basis.

Dare I ask what the word means?

Something along the lines of a face begging to be punched.

Colloquially: "a face desperately in need of a fist in it. For political comparisons see "Limbaugh, Rush" on the right and "Franken, Al" on the left. :D

You're seriously equating a radio clown with a United States Senator?

Though I must agree, all politics aside, both do have eminently punchable faces, even before they start talking. But I'd punch Rush first; I believe that Franken spent his high school years wrestling.

Yes, I am equating a "radio clown" with an unfunny, talentless, air head, who is in the Senate because of a magic ballot box that suddenly appeared in the trunk of someone's car during a recount.

I most certainly am. Every time I see Franken (whom I have loathed since his insanely unfunny SNL days) I just refer to him as "D*ckface."

Rush played offensive tackle in high school. I am sure Franken wrestled in the 86 lb. class for asthmatic kids who "had" to take a sport at his little prep school. :-) :D

Ah, the myth of voter fraud raises its head in a baseball forum. Sorry, I'm not taking the bait.

Doesn't really impress me much. I'm the same height as Franken, and I also played offensive line in high school. Wrestlers are total badasses. Football players? Some are, some aren't. I have my doubts that Rush was one of the badasses.
